ASWB participates in SAMHSA discussion

Mary Jo Monahan, MSW, LCSW, Jennifer Henkel, LCSW, and Jan Fitts, MSW, LCSW, LMHP, participated in a two-day meeting held by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The gathering, a workforce summit, addressed issues of meeting workforce needs with qualified professionals. Monahan served on a panel with representatives from the National Association of Social Workers, and the Council on Social Work Education. Both organizations, along with ASWB, are collaborating on finding solutions for social work licensing mobility.
