An update on the interstate compact for social work licensure

Date: June 9, 2022

Back to News

The project team developing an interstate compact for social work licensure has made substantial progress, and a first draft is expected to be available for stakeholder review in early July. The Council of State Governments, the Association of Social Work Boards, the Clinical Social Work Association, and the National Association of Social Workers will circulate the draft online and by request and distribute a survey to gather feedback. CSG will also host webinars and other public review sessions throughout the summer and early fall to provide information, review the draft, and solicit feedback.

If you would like to participate, please email and check for additional details.
